So, another week is underway, albeit in a different month! For the third blog post in this series, I round up the best inspiration I have come across in the past week, and this week has been especially fruitful!
It’s Nice That website re-design
The team at It’s Nice That have made a new website, and it’s a real success, focusing on distilling all the wonderful content into an easy to navigate website, which can be visited by clicking here.
It’s Nice That Graduate Pack 2015
The team at INT are on a roll! Aside from being well designed, their 2015 Graduate Pack is full of helpful advice and tips and I would say is useful not just for this year’s graduates. To read the accompanying article and to get a download link, visit their website.
Transport For London Journey Planner poster
A really simple, but effective vector illustration of London fitted into the Wi-Fi symbol. Transport for London create some rather lovely adverts so it’s worth keeping an eye on them.
Jaguar XF Press Materials by FP Creative
If you saw last week’s post, you’ll know how much I love car brochures, and once again FP Creative have worked their magic, this time with the 2015 Jaguar XF. More about this can be seen on Behance.
A new BBC Homepage vision by Andy Culbert
A great example of user interface design, and a very intensive task to make a design work across the whole BBC, but one that is being tackled impeccably. To see more of this project, you can visit his Behance.
Stellar Typeface by Mathieu Desjardins
A beautiful range of four “slightly condensed sans serif type[faces] with a taller x-height to give it legibility and personality.” It’s free for personal use (commercial licensing is available) and can be download from Pangram Pangram.
Honey Bee by Cat Coquillette
A very simple but beautiful illustration of a honey bee. To see more works by Cat, you can visit her Society6 page.
